Entrelazadas is a CSO that addresses different forms of gender-based violence from a comprehensive approach.
Entrelazadas was born as a civil society response to the lack of information, resources and justice for survivors/victims of gender-based violence. Given that the founders have lived with these types of violence from up close, we designed a comprehensive intervention model that is based on three programs: Entrelazadas for your Health, Entrelazadas for your Rights and Entrelazadas for your Growth. The first is designed to make healthcare accessible. Specifically: general practice, orthodontics, nutrition and psychology. Through the second, women receive legal and accounting assistance to start businesses or file complaints/lawsuits against perpetrators. And with the last one, Entrelazadas for your Growth, we promote education on rights issues, encourage the positive reinforcement of self-esteem and seek economic independence through the teaching of trades and technical and practical empowerment workshops.
