According to the report by INEGI on the impact caused by Covid-19 on Education, one of the main reasons for student’s abandoning their studies is related to Covid-19, with a 58.9% citing this reason for deserting due to having to work and 8% because they lacked economic and other resources.
The economic crisis caused by the pandemic has increased this problem. At the IBERO University’s Patronage we are committed to joint efforts that support our high performing students who find themselves in difficult situations, and therefore, find their studies continuity threatened.
Our main goal is to reduce student desercion rates by providing them with economic security regarding their college tuition and scholarships, as well as providing computing materials.
