Who we are

We are a non-profit civil association of the State of Querétaro, founded 14 years ago, after a personal experience of the founder Jackeline Verdín.

She in 2001 had her second daughter named Kristen, who was born with a complex heart problem. That motivated the founder to create the Kristen Foundation and help the largest number of families and children with heart problems and share all her experience that she has acquired over 20 years.

During those 14 years, FK has implemented different screening programs, medical treatment, parent support, and hospital referrals.
