Orthopedical and spine surgeon Dr. H. Michael Dittmar discovered the necessity of finding a solution to offer more accessible treatments to those who don´t have the facilities to attend their spine deformities.
Supported by Dr. Francisco Cruz López, orthopedic and spine surgeon, and Ms. Blanca Larios, the three of them give legal shape to the association.
Re-espalda is born in 2005 subsidizing treatment and surgeries for children and teenagers of scarce resources with spine deformities. The goal is to correct the deformity before it keeps advancing and offer them a better quality of life.
