Who we are

Yucatán Silvestre AC was created in 2014 by Mr. Pablo Gotthold Beutelspacher and
it is a nonprofit organization with the objective to improve the ecological balance in
the Yucatán Peninsula. This will be achieved educating the region inhabitants on
ecological subjects in order to improve the relationship between nature and live
beings.
We stablished the first conservation center of wild species from the Yucatan
Peninsula in danger of extinction in Valladolid, Yucatán called Vallazoo with more
than 60 endemic species. It also provides a place for environmental education,
investigation, breeding and reproduction of the species and conservation programs of
the biodiversity from the Yucatan Peninsula.
Yucatan Silvestre aims to improve the quality of live of the region inhabitants
reducing the ecological imbalance generated by the ecosystem loss.

Establecimos el primer centro de conservación de especies silvestres endémicas de la península yucateca, en su mayoría en peligro de extinción, la cual se encuentra ubicada en la ciudad de Valladolid, Yucatán desde su inauguración en 2016. Actualmente se cuenta con un total de 835 ejemplares, de igual manera se han realizado platicas de educación ambiental a estudiantes de preescolar, primaria, secundaria, preparatoria y universidad teniendo a mas de 7584 estudiantes informados acerca de la importancia de la conservación ambiental y cuidado del medio ambiente desde 2016 hasta agosto de 2019, dichas platicas se han realizado sin costo alguno para los estudiantes.
