CENTROmx

Who we are

CENTROmx is a project made by Centro Universitario de Arte, Arquitectura y Diseño’s students from Universidad de Guadalajara, where students work together with architects, designers and the whole community with the main goal of promoting an interaction between students and professionals.

The project works through conferences, trips, workshops, architectural routes, worksite visits, contests, expositions and discussion panels, all of them focused on promoting
the national and international projection of Guadalajara, as well as making community with the urban architectural culture.

Through the activities we carry out, CENTROmx proposes a methodology
with 3 axis of work

INTERPRETATION
In this stage the participants receive to their immediate environment external agents of knowledge (speakers, lecturers, workshops) which will provide them, new information and work methodologies.

COMPARISON
This stage pretends to take the participants outside their immediate environment (school, work), by the means of trips or routes, so this way they can be able to analyze and make judgements about a subject sustained by previously received ideas.

FEEDBACK
On this stage the participants expose their ideas, projects and conclusions so they are
subjected to review and criticism from people involved in the design environment to
encourage feedback from professionals.
